Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you followed our page, you may remember this boy. Chester is the emaciated dog that was found with his sisters this past summer. Chester was chained up with a prong collar around his neck in horrific conditions. He was so weak that he couldn’t stand without falling. We had no idea if he would make it, but with all the prayers he did, along with his sisters, Now this sweet boy, is READY TO FIND HIS FOREVER HOME AND HE IS HEART WORM FREE!
Chester is about 3 years old, and this boy has blossomed into a beefy heartthrob that knows he is cute and works his charming personality for any belly rubs he can get. This beef cake loves to be hugged! He thrives on it. Chester is a true sweetheart! Not surprising, he loves treats of all kinds and will sit for them if asked. He loves stuffy toys, and he will entertain himself endlessly with toys. Once he trusts you, he will give you the toy to grab. Due to his past circumstances, he can be a bit protective of his toys and does not like them to be grabbed from him unless he gives them to you. Once you build a bond with him, though, it greatly subsides. He also bonds and builds trust with women a lot quicker than men. Chester will need to be the only animal in the home, and children ages 12 and up are recommended. This boy loves to go on walks, crash in your lap, and sprawl out on any comfy bed!
Chester is pretty laid back, and he is looking for a home with a fenced-in backyard so that he can sunbathe, explore, and be by your side. This boy gives so much love and is so deserving to receive that type of love back. Chester may have had a sad beginning to life, but he is looking forward to finding the next permanent home that is willing to give him the commitment, kindness, and love he deserves. Is that with you?
