My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Ollie came to us from animal services in N. Florida. He is really sweet and good with dogs and kids.

Ollie is a loving and timid pup. He needs a couple of days to warm up to people, but when he does, he looks to you for love and comfort. Ollie needs someone who will give him the reassurances that will allow him to grow in confidence. He is tender-hearted and caring. He comes and checks on me. Ollie can be playful; particularly with his buddy Fritz (also available for adoption) and with one of my dogs. Ollie and Fritz came from the same shelter together and have been pals since. Ollie enjoys going on walks and does well on a leash. He has this cute bee-bop chihuahua stride that will put a smile on your face. He eats well and loves treats. He is crate trained. Ollie sleeps with us on the bed and sleeps through the night. He likes to have a blanket over him. Ollie is almost completely house trained, but if he does have an accident, he does it in our bathroom on the tile. This sweet pup would do well as a second dog. He looks to my dogs for guidance on what to do. He gets along with all types of dogs. Ollie enjoys chasing my cats (even though they are twice his size!) but never harms them. If you're not willing to deal with the drama or don't have cats that will put him in his place, it might be best that he live in a cat free home. Ollie does well with older children. I don't think he would do well with young children. Ollie is a treasure of a dog and will make a great addition to a family.
