Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Luna is a loving, playful, active, 11-years-young Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso mix who’s microchipped and current on all her shots plus flea/tick meds. Her companion Lucy was a Shih Tzu mix; passed peacefully at 16 years of age, so I anticipate that Luna has several great years ahead of her. When on walks, people are surprised to learn her age since she doesn’t look or act “old.” In fact, her energy (not hyperactive or anything, she just likes getting exercise) is a lot of the reason I’m looking to rehome her. She needs more exercise and play than I’ve been able to give her, and I’m convinced she’d be happier in a home with another dog, children, and/or active adults. I’m 70 YO, and my arthritis keeps me from all but short walks. I also anticipate needing several surgeries this fall and winter, which will even further restrict my ability to care for her. She loves: long/short walks, squeaky toys, car rides, going camping. She hates: fireworks, especially loud thunder. Sound machine helps.
