Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy Runt Hobby Local is currently in RI and looking for a forever home. Lucy is an adorable 3 ish year old lab girl who has balance issues from a genetic condition called cerebellar hypoplasia. DON'T RUN AWAY YET! It's a fancy name for balance issues and is usually related to sickness in the momma dog during pregnancy (distemper/ or receiving the distemper vaccine when pregnant). Lucy can't process what's in front of her fast enough to react.
Dogs with CH are usually clumsy, have a head tilt and run kinda clockwise. The symptoms look worse when they are excited or nervous. It does not cause them any harm and just makes them a bit different.
Lucy is dog and kid friendly! Since she has balance issues she will knock smallers kids down, ages 10+ preferred. She also does well in a crate! She requires a fenced yard and has some trouble with stairs, understandably.
