My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kayro is a very sweet boy who loves every kind human he meets. He just melts into a puddle at your feet to soak up all the attention you can give him. He was a street dog in Aruba who won the heart of a woman who feeds the strays there. She knew he deserved a good home & reached out for help. He has come all the way to Florida to find his forever family. Despite his rough start to life, he is incredibly trusting & full of love.
He is calm but still playful & loves toys. Doing well with potty training but still learning. He needs someone who will be patient with him as he learns what it’s like to live in a home. He is smart & attentive. Good on leash & in the car. Sits & comes when he’s called. Has been ok with the cats at his foster home. He does well with most dogs, but can get nervous around large or high-energy dogs. Good with kids but may jump up or get mouthy during excited play. Not a big barker but will let you know if something is going on. Loves to be with people but content to play alone with toys or curl up for a nap.
He is about 3-4 yr old, neutered, microchipped, UTD on shots/preventatives, about 40 lb, & healthy. Kayro is being fostered in Vero Beach FL. Adoption fee is $200. Email for an adoption application
