My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Finch is a 5-month-old Border Collie mix who currently tips the scale at 25 pounds. This ball of energy is making great progress with house-training. He's still a puppy, so he experiences occasional accidents. He's crate trained, is quiet, and sleeps through the night.

This sweet charmer is very friendly, and he loves attention. Although Finch is a bit hesitant about new things such as doorways or stairs, he quickly discovers they're not so scary!

Finch is an active puppy who loves playing with the dogs in his foster family. He's doing well with taking corrections when another dog isn't interested in playing. Finch loves playing with toys and needs some around the house to help with teething. He loves being outside.

Finch is a quick learner and will be a great dog for someone who takes the time to show him positive behaviors. He loves following his foster family around the house, and got along well with the family's house guests.

From Finch's foster mama: "He's very sweet and loves attention. Just like most puppies, he likes to play hard and nap hard. If he's not running around and being goofy, he's probably fast asleep at your feet. I think Finch would be a great dog for anyone looking for some fun energy to bring into their home!"

Finch's minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
