Sargent is a loving male approximately 6-year-old German Shepherd, weighing about 90 lbs.

He's incredibly friendly and loves nothing more than leaning in for a good long scratch. He’s perfectly content laying on the floor next to wherever you’re seated, but he is also VERY excited to go out for a long walk or to head to the dog park. He's very good and respectful with with other dogs there - he would prefer them on the lower energy side, but can be convinced to play with younger, higher energy dogs as well if they’re persistent.

He is extremely affectionate and sometimes will follow his foster dad around the apartment. He is easy with his food and takes treats gently. He’s house trained and hasn’t had any accidents in his foster home. He will happily chew on bones and rawhides or other chews, but is not destructive of any furniture or anything like that.

He’s very happy to get in the car, as he jumps right into an SUV and sits calmly with his head at the open window height in the back. If it’s a longer ride, he will sometimes lay down and curl up back there.
He walks well on leash and might pull little to sniff things.
