My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Camo was adopted from us a few years ago and he has been returned. Someone in the family is terminally ill and they can no longer take care of him. He is 3-4 years old, weighs 58 lbs., is UTD with shots, dewormed, heartworm negative, neutered and chipped. He is not housetrained. He is good with older kids, good with most dogs, NOT good with cats, does well on a leash and is very friendly.

More about this shelter

Washington Wilkes Animal Shelter is a small, open door shelter. We strive to save every adoptable animal that is surrendered, orphaned, abandoned, abused and neglected. All animals are spayed/neutered at time of adoption, vaccinated. All dogs are heartworm tested/treated at time of adoption.

All procedures administered to the shelter animals are funded solely on donations. We are in constant need of monetary donations to continue the vetting of these animals.
