Hi, my name is Muffin and I'm a pretty tuxedo girl who is ready to find my forever home! I am outgoing and ready to greet you right away (maybe even crawl on your lap), but I prefer to cuddle on my terms and don’t usually want to be petted. I was found in the back of a pick up truck in NM and I can’t tell you how I got there! I was friendly when I was taken in, but I’m still learning how to trust new people, so I like to be in charge of the situation. If I get overstimulated or scared, I might give you a bite to let you know I’m uncomfortable, so I need someone patient who understands my quirks. I am still learning that I get regular meals, so I can get a bit too excited sometimes when food is involved and inhale it like I’ve never eaten before!

I do REALLY love playtime and I have a lot of energy. I like laser pointers and ribbon toys the best and I'll make you laugh with how excited I am to play.

I would do best in a quiet and calm environment to help me open up and trust you. Another animal would probably be okay as long as you're patient and can do a slow introduction. A kitty friend who matches my feisty and energetic personality would be really fun! Because I can be energetic and feisty at times, I would be a better fit in a home with adults and no children.

Muffin is approximately 18 months old. She is being fostered in Denver. She is spayed, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150.
