Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buddy was a stray dog in Texas and came to Wisconsin through another foster agency in April 2022. At his foster home, he lived happily with other dogs and 1 cat. We adopted him in December 2022 and have been amazed at how loving, cuddly, and patient of a dog he is. He's a joy for our 6 and 8 year old kids to play with, puts up with playing dress up, loves "tug", and will fall asleep in your lap.
He is crate trained and house trained. He is a short haired dog, and typical collars irritate his skin, so we walked him using a harness. He needs a yard that is enclosed because he'll chase everything out.
We are surrendering him because he is leash reactive towards other dogs. We take him to the dog park and he's ok there, but on walks, it is another story. Our current neighborhood has too many dogs out on leashes and we cannot provide the exercise he needs or keep him or other dogs safe while out on walks.
