My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Bellamy!

I began my journey as a small pup when my mother gave birth under a house and left me and my siblings. I had to survive on my own, feeling hungry, scared, and isolated. Fortunately, we were discovered and taken to the shelter in February 2023. A foster home from HSDC cared for me and my siblings until we were ready for adoption. All my siblings have found homes, and now it's my turn!

What's special about me is my love for other dogs. I get along with every dog I meet, perhaps because I'm used to being around so many. I'd thrive in a home with other dogs. I'm just a boy learning all about life. While I enjoy playing I am also rather calm for a younger dog and settle well. I love toys of all kinds and would love for you to teach me how to play fetch. Though I may be a bit reserved around new individuals, I am longing for the opportunity to experience true love and be a cherished member of a family!

I was estimated to be born November of 2022, weigh 49 pounds, and I've had my vaccinations, microchip, and already been neutered.

My adoption fee is $175. If you would like to meet me call HSDC (615-446-7387) or come by to see me. If you already have other dogs bring them with so we can meet before bringing me home!
