Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY POST:
MOBY is a very handsome, 5 year old, long-haired male cat, probably a Maine Coon-mix due to his large size and gentle nature.
Found on the streets of a neighborhood with lots of strays, he was fed by a kind lady taking care of many cats.
Being so sweet she knew he was a housepet and contacted us. We had him neutered, vaccinated, and tested. Fortunately, he did not have Feline Leukemia, but did test positive for FIV. Today, it is well known that this condition is not life-threatening nor contagious to other cats once they are neutered. FIV is only transmitted via deep-bite wounds caused by unneutered males fighting over territory or females. Maddie's Fund followed a 15+year study of mixed households with NO incidents of transmission when new cats are properly introduced.
Please consider MOBY if you are interested in adopting a furry gentle giant who really needs a furrever home!!
MOBY is a Courtesy Post and is therefore NOT located nor directly affiliated with Kopy Kat Sanctuary. To meet this big fella, please CONTACT MARYANNE at 412.537.5556.
