Sammy is a front-declawed 9-year old male cat.
This big orange boy is so sweet and would do great in a quiet home. He's being rehomed because his previous owner couldn't keep him, so I'm providing transitional housing. I don't know anything about his medical history, other than that he was neutered, and at some point he was declawed, so he can't go outside. He's about 9 years old. I would love to keep him but it's not the best fit for him long-term with me.
I have 4 children and he would be happier in a low-stress home where he can get more one-on-one attention. He is friendly with everyone but feels especially comfortable with women. Due to his stress level he has started some behavioral issues that should be remedied when he's back in a low stress environment. He always pees in the litter box.
Sammy is very chatty when he wants attention, and he will follow you all over the house until you pay attention. He loves big pets, and scratches on his bottom. His favorite thing is Luvsome Lickable treats, and he’ll sit on the back or arm of your chair purring in your ear as long as you don’t forget to keep petting him.
He really is very sweet, and I look forward to him getting in a quiet home where he can really show his big self. Indoor only. $40 rehoming fee.
