Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little Zinger is fun, fearless, feisty and fine! Jessie is an unusual mix of some kind of herding dog (maybe?) plus some kind of amazing sporting dog plus some kind of sweet girl/best friend. She also happens to be stunningly photogenic with a very expressive face (and tongue!)

Jessie is super crazy athletic and fit with lots of energy and the willingness to try anything. This bouncy girl would make an incredible dog sport partner or just a very active partner of any kind.
'Hellooo, anyone out there for Dog Parkour?' Jessie asks. 'or agility or flyball or disc?'

She was originally found as a stray in Central California and was days away from saying bye-bye to this cruel world so the shelter could make more space, when we connected with them and Jessie connected with us. She seemed like a great fit for what we do--search dog training. We were glad to bring her 'home' with us, but as it turns out, she's not quite right for the work we do, so we are helping her find her fur-ever home--which could be you!?!

She LOVES toy play, fetch, tug, tease. She likes a good long hike. She enjoys a scritch and a cuddle. She loves being brave, with no fear of falling, tripping or slipping on any surface ('Hellooo...dog parkour anyone???') She is game for whatever game you want to play, and if you don't want to play? She's independent enough to amuse herself. She likes to explore and she is fascinated by critters.

Jessie also has that rare trait in a young high energy girl...an Off Switch!
