My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Forrest and I'm ready to play! I'm told I'm a happy goofball, and that's the compliment I want, usually because it comes right before I get a treat! I can't wait to show you the goofball life! Hint: its lots of meeting new doggie friends and fetching!

I'm still a puppy and I have the energy to prove it! I love (all caps, underline, exclamation point) playing with other dogs! I have never met a dog that I don't want to run right over to and play! I get down in puppy play stance and its on! I'll run, wrestle, jump like a kangaroo (yeah, that's a goofball thing, and its great). I've been called "exuberant" and that must mean "playful and friendly" because I am!

I'm not just exuberant about dogs, but about people too! I love being with people! You won't be lonely with me here! I will follow you around (especially if I think you might have some food; being a goofball makes you hungry!). When you're sitting down, I'll lay my head at your feed and chew on my toys until you're ready to go find another adventure. I'll protect you too! If I hear a car in the driveway, I'll let out a deep bark (don't tell them I'm secretly fun and friendly!).

I am a great watch dog until you open the door and then, well, you can watch me cozie up with my new friend. When I meet new people, I get so excited my tail goes crazy, but I settle down for a nap shortly after. I love pressure hugs, I'll push my whole body into you, after you sit down of course and show you my wormies (Its were I push myself down to the ground and roll around on my back)!

Ball is Life and Food is Love! That's my motto. I love fetching balls in the yard and I have been catching them sometimes!

I love playing with my foster fur-brother and going to doggy daycare! There's just nothing better than using two mouths to bring back one toy! And maybe you don't want to play fetch all day (I don't know why you wouldn't!). That's okay, because I love lots of other kinds of fun too! I love going for walks and I'm working on my leash skills – I want to pull over to meet every dog I see, but I'm getting better! As soon as you even look at my leash, I am excited and ready to go!

I am also known as the King of Comfort! You should see the things I can do with a pillow. When anyone visits my foster humans they always ask if I can sleep in their room because once 8pm hits I'm all snooze and the best cuddler this side the river.
I love to learn too! I know lots of commands and am ready to learn more! For example, tell me "Pillow" and I go lay on my fluffy floor pillow and chill out! Yep, even goofballs need to rest!

Is your life missing a ball-chasing (sometimes catching), tail-wagging, big snoozin, loveable goofball? Well, do I have a surprise for you- its me! Let's meet! I'll bring the ball, you bring the treats.
