My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TAKODA is an AGOUTI (wolf-colored) Alaskan husky that was found laying in the middle of the street next to his dead friend who got hit by a car. He was raised on the streets and started off pretty wild/feral but has come a LONG way since coming to the rescue. He has learned household manners (such as not jumping on counters) and is very enthusiastic with his affection. He is desperate to come inside and be part of a family.

This dog is energetic and somewhat assertive but not at all aggressive and listens well to boundaries set by other dogs... He would love another similar-sized dog to play with who is confident enough to become friends and a Person or family who is willing to train him.

>> Huskies are very smart and very vocal, although TAKODA only howls or yelps when he is being left in a kennel but really wants to be with his family.

***He has also been known to be an ESCAPE ARTIST and will need an escape-proof yard or kennel at first (provided at no cost) but once he is bonded with his family, he has no desire to go anywhere.

Hit us up if you are interested in TAKODA or have any questions for us!
