My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellie is a 3 year old Beauceron mix. We originally adopted her in NE Arkansas and she now lives with us in Texas. She would be considered a highly sensitive dog. She is as sweet as can be but can become overwhelmed quickly. It takes her some time to relax around new people. Once she is relaxed, she is fiercely loyal. She is aware of everything around her. She would make the perfect companion to a highly sensitive person.
Ellie is very smart and is definitely an outdoors kinda dog. She knows sit, lay down, shake, speak, beg, and roll over. She is able to stay loose in the home for hours without pottying or tearing things up. She patiently waits when she’s alone and acts like she hasn’t seen us for days when we do come home.
She is such a good dog that deserves a wonderful home. I think she’d prefer someone that would walk her frequently and/or that has a lot of space for her to explore.
She doesn’t run away when she’s off leash at the home. She loves and sticks with her people.
