If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Loki, a 7 1/2-year-old female gray cat, is looking for a new loving home due an overseas move in May 2024. Loki was introduced to us by her stray cat mom, who raised her for the first 2-3 months out of doors. We took her in, had her fixed and got her the first set of shots at about age 3 months. Loki has been socialized to a large degree but is still very shy and skittish, especially around strangers. She likes to cuddle with you on the couch and bed and likes to be petted. She also likes to play with strings, balls, and chase laser lights. She especially enjoys being combed. Loki does not tolerate being picked up. She would do best in a household with adults and/or mature adolescents. Loki is a litter-trained, nondestructive indoor cat. Please give her time to get used to you. A quiet home would be most suitable for her. I would like to keep Loki and Brownie together, but I am willing to give them up for adoption individually if need be to save them from being put in a shelter in May.
