My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Lisa (springstormcat@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.

Miss Graycie is looking for someone to love her forever and ever!  She came from an outdoor colony with her siblings Bert and Diamond.  She has a very unique tail that looks a bit like a corkscrew althogh the origins of it is unknown.  Graycie will need someone willing to give her the time to slowly get acquainted.  She craves love but is a bit skittish considering her start in life outside where humans and other animals can be cruel.  As she warms up she lays on her side purring and making air biscuits.  As she gets even warmer, she meerkats for your attention. She is a very loving girl and deserves a place that will make her feel like she is safe, loved and well fed.
Graycie is a real sweetheart and will be a loyal companion for the right person who will never yell, startle or cause her fearfulness. A lover of laser pointers and string you can see more pictures of her at her foster mommy's instagram account @ springstorm88_.
Must be adopted with Diamond.

Some of our cats ready for adoption can be seen at the following Adoption Center locations:

PetSmart, located at 12835 Citrus Park Dr across from the Citrus Park Mall. Our volunteers are onsite for adoptions Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm and will be happy to assist you with finding the perfect feline companion. PetSmart management can assist with an adoption during other days/hours, time permitting. Cats are onsite 7 days a week.

PetSmart, located at 11331 Causeway Blvd in Brandon. Cats and adoption counselors are onsite for adoptions Saturday from 11:00am to 3:00pm and Sunday from 12:00pm to 2:30pm only.

Petco, located at 13127 N Dale Mabry Hwy. Cats and adoption counselors are onsite Saturdays from 11:00am to 4:00pm only.

We have many more cats than the ones housed at our Adoption Center locations. Our cats live with foster families until they are ready for adoption and space is available at an Adoption Center. If a cat is located in a foster home and the foster has provided contact information, you can get more details on a particular cat directly from them.

More about this rescue

St. Francis Society Animal Rescue is an all volunteer, non-profit 501-c-3 animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of sick, injured, and stray domestic animals as well as spay/neuter and medical services for those animals. We seek to place animals in a loving foster or permanent home after recovery and we DO NOT euthanize unless terminal illness necessitates such a decision. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, tested for leukemia/FIV (cats), wormed and vaccinated before they are adopted.
