Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Otto is an incredibly loyal dog with lots of love to give. He's initially from Texas and lived with owners that surrendered him at 5 years old. He came to Wisconsin and I received him through a foster agency.
My living situation has significantly changed since I received Otto 2 years ago, and he's exhibited behavioral issues that compromise my ability to keep him.
Otto is very anxious and does best when he can be around his owner for most of the day. With medication, he can stay calm while alone during a 9-5 workday. But beyond that, he's exhibited nervous drooling and chewing, causing damage to my apartment. When crated, despite my training efforts, his anxiety spikes and he won't calm down until he's let out.
With an owner present, Otto is calm and sweet as can be. He barely barks, will love to snuggle by your feet, and is housebroken despite occasional accidents. I hope he can find a new home that provides the care I currently can't. I will assist with his transition in any way.
