My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Lucky

Calling all adventure seekers and dog lovers, we have a special pooch to introduce you to - Lucky, the German Shepherd mix extraordinaire! Lucky is a young, energetic pup who is ready to embark on thrilling escapades with his forever family. Our Underdog Rescue Squad is thrilled to present this adventurous canine, awaiting the perfect home where he can shine!

At just around a year old, Lucky is bursting with zest and enthusiasm for life. This handsome fella is a perfect blend of intelligence, loyalty, and a dash of mischievousness. He's always up for an exciting expedition, whether its exploring new trails, chasing after a frisbee, or simply playing a lively game of fetch in the backyard. Lucky is hoping to find a family that shares his zest for outdoor activities and will provide him with plenty of opportunities to stretch those long, lean legs.

While Lucky is a social butterfly with humans, he prefers to be the only furry friend in his forever home. He craves undivided attention and wants to be the center of your world. With his boundless energy and his zest for life he's looking for a family who can give him the time and dedication he deserves. Lucky would thrive in a household where he can be the star of the show and soak up all the love and affection.

Although Lucky adores people of all ages, he would do best in a home with older children, preferably over the age of 10. His exuberance and playful nature may be a bit overwhelming for younger kids. Lucky's Underdog Rescue Squad trainers have been working diligently with him to refine his manners. He's a quick learner and eager to please, making him an ideal candidate for continued training and bonding with his new family,.

When it comes to looks, Lucky is a real showstopper. With his stunning black and tan coat, soulful eyes, and perky ears, he turns heads wherever he goes. But don't let his good looks fool you - this pup is much more than just a pretty face. Lucky has a heart full of love and a spirit yearning for adventure. His charming personality and unwavering loyalty will make him an ideal companion for those seeking a lifelong partner.

Are you ready to take the leap and give Lucky the forever home he deserves? Our Underdog Rescue Squad believes this young, adventurous German Shepherd Mix is destined to find his perfect match! If you're an active family with older children and a whole lot of love to give, Lucky is waiting to meet you. Together, you can embark on countless thrilling escapades, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Adopt Lucky today and let the adventures begin! The application is available here.

Additional adoption info

We do our best to get back to every potential applicant but at times we are only able to get back to the strongest applicant. We are a team of volunteers who work full time jobs and do rescue on the side.

Go meet their pets

Most of our fosters are in the San Bernardino area. Our pups are fostered in private homes so appointments must be set up prior to visiting.

More about this rescue

We are a group of friends with a heart and passion for animals, especially dogs. We are drawn to the ones with the sad stories so that we can rewrite their stories and make them happy.
Each of our dogs will be fully vetted (spay/neuter), vaccines and microchip.
An in person home check is required.
