Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Toby is a 5 year old male corgi/lab mix who was rescued from a severe hoarding situation. Because of this, he feels safest with other dogs and must go to a home with another friendly dog to show him the ropes. He does prefer dogs of his size or larger. He doesn’t often play with other dogs, but he really loves to cuddle with them. He is a very quiet boy and is house trained. He is still very timid when it comes to pets or being leashed. His foster mama is working with him but he was never properly socialized when he was young due to his living conditions. It is also very important to keep him secure and thus he will require a fenced backyard. With a yard, he is 100% potty trained and runs back to the door immediately after doing his business to be let back in. Favorite activities include following his dog bestie around the house, following his foster mama around the house when his bestie is outside, and napping hard on the couch.
Toby has a history of seizures that occurred approximately once monthly prior to being on medications. He presently receives a seizure medication and an anxiety medication once daily every day and since starting these medications he has not had any further seizures. He will need to continue these medications likely his whole life so his forever family will need to be ok with that and commit to regular vet visits.
