My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pinto was abandoned at the rock pit, where he was attacked by other dogs. His situation was dire so we got him out of there. Pinto is a high energy guy, who likes to run, play and just have fun, so a family he could be active with -- even throwing balls for him to chase, would be perfect for him.
Pinto loves people and is happiest when he is with his favorite people, whether during activities or just chillin'. If you think Pinto may be the perfect addition to your every day, please submit an application so he can start enjoying life with you!

Pinto has done well around other dogs, but we would require a meet & greet with any current pets in the house.

Once application approved. You can meet the dog and, if required, bring your family pet to meet him as well.

Once all documents are signed, the adoption fee is paid and all is finalized, your new family member goes home.

Additional adoption info

We do not have a shelter; our dogs are either in foster homes or boarding facilities. Meet & greets have to be scheduled in advance.

The focus of the Redland Rock Pit Abandoned Dogs Project, Inc. is:

- To feed and provide initial emergency care for abandoned and free roaming dogs while promoting their safe capture and transfer to reputable non-profit rescue organizations for re-homing.

- To bring awareness to the plight of the free roaming dogs in Miami-Dade County Florida.

- The ongoing education of the public on the appropriate care of dogs.
