Autumn was found in a pile of leaves on the side of the road on December 28th, 2022. Her left back leg was broken and several of her baby teeth were knocked out from a car hitting her. She was only about 4 months old at the time. She was quiet and shy, but never cried out in pain. Her leg surgery was scheduled as quickly as possible, and she has recovered quite well. Autumn pushed through her physical therapy with lots of bravery. At her follow up appointment, the vet gave her a stamp of good health and she was released for full activity. She will never fully recover from her broken leg, and she still walks with a limp. In the mornings she is slow to get moving and when she has been laying down for a while, she needs time to get up and go. Since is she still a puppy, she is teething and likes to chew and will nip; hands, toes, furniture, and anything else she can get her mouth on. She is resilient, loveable, and very shy at times. She will do great with a family who is willing to be kind and patient with her and her injury. She is ready for her forever home!
Autumns hobbies: Snuggling, sunbathing, playing fetch, chewing on toys, going on walks, playing in the sprinklers.
Autumns favorite snacks: Carrots, apples, peanut butter, pineapples, pumpkin puree, and ice.
Autumns accomplishments: Crate trained and potty trained.
