Hey guys, Lemon Twist here! I am a too cute for words, 8lb Golden Retriever/Pyr mix. I am thinking that I may top out somewhere in the 70lb range as an adult. I am on the playful side but also have my calm and cuddly moments. Overall, I will probably be on the more energetic side as an adult though so my new family needs to be prepared for that.
I am part of the Yellow Paint litter and we came to PPFT after we became a bit too much for our owner to care for. Six rambunctious and playful pups will do that to one I guess! They wanted to make sure that we ended up somewhere safe, and ended up surrendering us here. I am super excited because I have never had a family before. My foster family is awesome, but I came here with my siblings. Getting to start an adventure of my very own with a family that is all about me...now that sounds amazing!
I am good with other dogs and cats. I am not being fostered around any kids. I think I would be an amazing companion to an older kiddo, but would be too much for a baby or toddler. I like playing with toys, exploring the yard, wrestling with my siblings, and cuddling with my foster parents. I enjoy being part of my family's activities and would probably like to go places with them once I am older. I am too young for hikes and walks, so my new family needs to be ready to work with me on my leash training.
I am still a baby so my new family needs to be ready to potty train me and also have everything puppy-proofed. Lots of toys around for me to play with would also be amazing.

Please I am begging you though, only apply to adopt me if you can keep me forever. If you can't keep me through ALL of my life's changes, don't be the one that makes me have to be passed around a few months/years down the line. That just isn't fair to me.

Adoption Fee: $300 Includes: Two rounds of the DHLPP, Rabies, Bordetella, Fecal, Deworming, Heartworm Test, Micro-Chip, Spay, and she will be current heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

~Lemon is a sweetheart. Playful but also cuddly. Has puppy breathe and gives kisses. She can be feisty like her sisters and brothers. She also loves wrestling with them.
Lemon Twist would do best in a home that has another playful dog. However, if her new family were active and home most of the day she would also do fine as an only dog.~
*I can go home after April 17th, so my new family should plan on picking me up no later than that following weekend.
