My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Archie is the sweetest 8 month old puppy around town. He is already crate trained and potty trained so a lot of the hard work has been done for you! At only 43lbs, it's also not likely he will get much bigger at this point, maybe 50-55lbs fully grown.
Archie loves all people and dogs, however we recommend any children be 10 years of age or older. He’s never met a cat, but he doesn’t seem to have any prey drive in the yard and Canine Cupids does meet and greets and a slumber party period to make sure everyone in the house gets along before adopting out dogs. He's the definition of a social butterfly. He'd love to spend his days playing with friends and going on adventures with you. But he's also pretty chill for a puppy! He settles in nicely and is ready to cuddle and watch your favorite shows with you after dinnertime. As far as workouts go, his foster mom outlasts him on their one-mile stroll through the neighborhood after work.

At only 4 months old, Archie came to Canine Cupids with a wonky leg. He was found outside during a bitter cold spell in January and Canine Cupids promptly scooped him up to look into it. After a handful of vet visits, crate rest, and then slowly building up strength, he was cleared by an Orthopedic Specialist for full activity! They think ultimately that he had a previous break that did not heal properly, but has since corrected itself, with the help from his foster home. This miraculous little puppy healed himself and now nothing can slow him down. Because of this, future adopters may see arthritis down the road, but it’s not guaranteed (and really any dog can get arthritis as they get older too).

If you’re looking for the perfect mix of playful and snuggles to add to your home, Archie is your guy! Not to mention he is cute to boot. So apply to adopt him today!
