My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annabeth wins the most recent round of “who is the most unique.” She is a two-year-old, 41-pound Pitbull mix. Mixed? With what, exactly? Maybe a Basset Hound, because look at those shortie legs and long, low-riding body. Annabeth was out wandering by herself and found a lady to follow home. The kind lady took her in and Annabeth did great with the resident dog, but was not as friendly with the resident cat. Annabeth was taken to the county shelter, where Home Fur Good spotted her and took her in. She has settled in quickly to shelter life. She happily leaves her kennel with anyone who offers the chance. Annabeth appears to know the request to sit, but sometimes pretends not to hear the command. She loves to be out and about, mixing and mingling. Going back into her kennel is not her favorite, but she allows herself to be picked up and put back. The adoption fee is $225 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment.
