Bella has been with me for only about 3 months. She was loved for years by a little old lady when, after the lady passed away, Bella was given to the son who had violent tendancies and soon went to prison. That son's girlfriend was my sister and she couldn't care for the dog properly, so on my visit to help her through her situation, I offered to take the dog home with me and figure out how best to care for her. Some things I've learned about Bella: She is supremely content for hours curled up on someone's lap, at night curled up under covers next to her owner, she doesn't want to disappoint or be scolded -so she stays quiet always and follows your every footstep, she is calm and calming so a therapy dog-type role would be a good fit for her -I'd say. Bella comes with a metal crate, sweaters to keep her warm (she shivers much in winter without them), had her teeth recently cleaned, all shots up to date, is about 7 lbs, and just wants to love and cuddle always.
