My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sela is a beautiful 8-year-old Weimaraner born and raised here in New Jersey. She is a constant companion, but also happy to rest in her crate at night and when no one is in the house. Sela is sweet, follows a strict routine, and has enjoyed a big back yard. Like other Wiemaraners, she is energetic and can be anxious when meeting new people. She's never been around other dogs much, but she's remarkably chill about a pet rabbit in the house!

She was spayed as a pup, and had another surgery about year later when she ate something that blocked her digestive tract. She's been healthy since then and has settled at a weight of around 75 pounds.

Weimaraners are great for people who like to talk walks, snuggle, and play tug and fetch. Not the best with small children in the house, just because big happy dogs can bump things (and people). But Sela has been the darling of every handyman and neighbor who comes over, and loved going to the kids' bus stop in the morning.
