My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is a 10 year old female dachshund. Her back hip sockets are eroded and her back legs go in and out of the socket. She's on pain management and is doing great. She has a wheelchair to use when her back legs aren't working but so far can only go backwards. We're working on that! Pepper needs a forever adopter or foster to love her in her final years.
Approved applications will be contacted to make an appointment to meet the dog. If you are selected to adopt a second trip to the shelter will be required to pick up the dog and complete the adoption process.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, have had a wellness exam from our veterinarian, have been treated for fleas/worms and are up to date on vaccinations.
