We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX).
GUSTO is the conversation-maker...His mother was a Shepherd mix...but who knows who Daddy was? Gusto is what we call a "low rider". Compared to his siblings, he has short legs...almost like a Basset but not with those big knuckles. Then, he has the most beautiful brindle legs!!! He's a real sweetie. He came from a litter of 7 and was the only low rider. He is currently about 23#s. DOB is 12/6/22. We expect him to be medium-sized dogs...50-60#s...but short! He is extremely playful and happy. You couldn't ask for a better puppy. He will be great for families or especially with children.

This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention.

Adoption Fees
The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.
All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.
This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose.
