Hi, my name is Catalina I am an extremely sweet and affectionate Dutch shepherd/Staffie mix looking for my forever home. My foster mom says I am fiercely loyal and very friendly. I understand basic commands like sit and lie down, and I am house-trained. I think I would make an excellent family dog, though I tend to get excited quickly so I might not be suitable for young kids. I love other dogs and would make a great sister or be happy as an only dog. I am crate trained and I am very respectful and nondestructive once I get comfortable at home. I love to lay at my foster mom's feet during the workday and play with my foster dog sister. I would also make an excellent exercise partner for an active family because I have lots of energy and love to run. I hope you might be my forever family.

1.
Submit Application

Please fill out an our adoption application at www.pawprintsinthesand.org

2.
Interview

Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview.

3.
Meet the Pet

After we've had the chance to get to know you and feel you would make an awesome pet parent, we'll schedule a meeting with the pet.

4.
Home Check

We require an in-home home check (not virtual) for all adoption candidates.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

If approved, we will send you our adoption agreement and link to pay the adoption fees.

6.
Pay Fee

I approved, we will send you the payment options available to pay the adoption fee. All fees go towards our life-saving programs.

7.
Take the Pet Home

FINALLY! Once the adoption fee and agreement are received, we will make arrangements with you to take home your new family member! Congrats!

Once the application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet, home and vet/reference check. We will also collect an adoption fee.
