Meet Ruger!

He is estimated around 10 years old. He is friendly, rides well in the car and has decent leash manners. He gets along well with others dogs and people. He cannot live with cats.

Ruger enjoys a nice walk or some quality time sniffing around the yard. His hound nose finds all the interesting sniff spots! He can be a chatty fellow which means he is not suitable for apartments or homes with shared walls. Country life is more his style! He is currently in boarding and has had no accidents in his kennel so we believe he understands potty training and/or would catch on quickly.

This sweet boy was a hunting dog in his former life. He was given to rescue upon his retirement and is looking for a home where he can enjoy it!
