1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

View our pets on our website at www.broward.org/animal and come into our facility to adopt.

2.

Approve Application

Once you find a pet at our facility, we will continue with the adoption paperwork. Make sure you have a government issued ID.

3.

Take the Pet Home

If you decide to adopt the pet, you will be able to take him home!

I See a Pet I'm Interested in Adopting! Now What?

We make it as easy as 1, 2, 3 to get your new friend home! Here's all you have to do:

1. View our pets on our website at www.broward.org/animal.

2. If the pet is available, come to our facility and our Customer Service team will set you up with a meet and greet.

3. Adoption

Your new pet will come complete with:
A physical exam
All necessary vaccinations
Spaying or neutering
Broward County Rabies Registration License Tag
Microchip

Animal Care provides shelter for homeless pets and helps reunite owners with their lost dog or cat. Animal Care offers spay/neuter services for pets and community cats, as well as neighborhood Rabies Clinics. In addition, the agency enforces animal laws to help support public safety. Animal Care also offers Volunteer and Foster opportunities to those interested in supporting pets in need.
