Meet Zane, a true embodiment of his name. This pure red red heeler was surrendered by his owner at just 8 months old due to his strong desire to chase cows in the pasture. With a bloodline deeply rooted in the working cattle dog tradition, Zane was born to nip those cows into line. However, he's thankfully moved past the heel-nipping phase of his life and is now focused on enjoying playtime, love, and affection. Zane's intelligence shines through as he quickly learned to potty outside in less than two weeks. His ultimate dream is to live out his days on a ranch or small farm, working alongside his human companions during the day and then unwinding with cuddles and relaxation in the evening. Still young and incredibly smart, Zane is eager to continue learning and being trained. Zane is already kennel trained, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, making him the perfect addition to any loving home that can offer him the active lifestyle and companionship he craves. We ensure healthy pets through education, advocacy, and affordable services. We also hope to inspire the community where the animal - human bond is celebrated and nurtured.

We are committed to more than just saving dogs. We believe education is a key element of rescue. as well as spay/neuter. Once we get the dogs off of the streets we fully vaccinate, microchip, and spay/neuter. Then we begin to search for their one in a million home!
