Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name, Kauai (aka Bunbun)
Age: 1 year
Type of animal: New Zealand Rabbit
Likes: BOXES, his rattle toys. sniffing at the cats through his pen, performing Zoomies and sitting up on his chair
Dislikes: People sneaking up on him, loud noises
What would be the ideal home? He is accustomed to a fairly quiet house. He has his own space which he loves to run around in.
Good with other pets? He is good with other pets when separated by a cage. Only out with other animals a few times. He doesn't appear to be scared of them.
Good with children? Kauai would be great with children who took their time to get to know him. He does well with handling and petting. He doesn't seek out attention yet if patient he will come out to see what is going on.
Temperament: Independent. Always greets me for a run prior to filling his water and food bowl.
How long will it take to settle into a new environment? A few weeks.
What kind of housing are they in? Kauai has a 10x 10 room to himself. He has several cardboard boxes which he chews to make a shelter. He runs between them.
Favourite types of fruits/veggies? Loves fresh cranberries, apples, pears, red clover, parsley, cilantro and mint. Loves rabbit pellets designed for foraging.. it contains dried fruits.
Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? Litter trained!! Very clean rabbit. He doesn't like big kernel of pellets. He will eat around them.
Medical: N/A
