My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When poor Lucky's owner unexpectedly died, he was left in a house, in a crate with no food or water. He lived in that crate for several months and only received a few scraps from the workers who were hired by the new owner to remodel the home. Eventually, this was reported to Animal Control, who took Lucky to the animal shelter. When AFH heard about him, the shelter was completely at capacity, and we were told that Lucky would be first to be euthanized if they needed to take any more dogs in. He is now safely in the hands of a wonderful AFH foster and is receiving much-needed medical care.  More information to follow.
