My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nova is appx 4 yrs old and 70 lbs. She is a sweet girl who loves people and loves to be with you. She enjoys going for walks and being outdoors. She must have a secure fenced yard to be safe in while enjoying her time outdoors. She uses a doggy door and has done very well with that. Nova loves to get belly rubs. She can be a bit choosy about her doggy friends so needs slow introductions with new dogs. She is not a candidate for a home with small dogs or cats.

More about this rescue

We are small group of individuals in Southern Missouri dedicated to the rehabilitation of homeless animals. We help all creatures, promote kindness to animals, respect for the earth and hope to launch a campaign in the next rescue year to combat the pet overpopulation problem in Southern Missouri.
The attitude towards animals here is not a good one; they are viewed and treated, mostly, as chattel. When they are no longer cute, or useful, they are dumped, shot, or just let go. We serve poor, rural communities, whose people do not have the money to pay for their own medical care, let alone veterinary expenses for their pets. Spaying and neutering is not the norm here at all, so we have a huge population of unwanted dogs and cats.
Its been said and said but still everyone does not hear SPAY, SPAY, SPAY, SPAY its the only way we can NIP the SUFFERING for Lost Souls in the Ozarks.
