Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Preacher, a 4 year old Jack Russell Terrier. I love sitting in my people's lap and getting scratches. My family recently had some life changes that makes it more difficult to give me all the exercise I need. I need new people who can take me on two walks a day. I am really good on walks, I like meeting other dogs (I'm always calm), and very rarely bark. I also like hanging out with my people outside. When I go into the backyard alone, I do have to bark at the neighbor's dog, and lots of other things. In the house, I like to bark at the TV occasionally, and also with the low windows, stand on my back paws and will bark at cars and bikes on the road in front of my house. When I'm in a lap, sometimes I will bark when another person walks into the room, but I'm okay as soon as I jump on the floor and can go over to meet them. When I'm barking, to get me to stop, distract me with a toy, it works really well. I like to play fetch in the house with my toys.
