Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Welcome King to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 1.5 year old Great Pyrenees. He weighs in at around 100 pounds. He is beautiful and very nice. He came in with another female that is smaller than him. He is great with other dogs. This is a guardian breed and are notoriously good with flock animals and were originally breed to protect flocks. They are also good with children. He is mild mannered and didn’t jump up on us as we were working with him. He does pull on leash some and can climb a chain link fence. Great Pyrenees are going to need a fenced yard and not an underground fencing type. The best would be a privacy fence. He would be great for someone that has had a large dog before or has owned a Great Pyrenees. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is being treated for heartworms and will be neutered and ready to leave the rescue in about 8 weeks. He has a beautiful coat and would be great in the more northern climates. He currently is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states
