Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sara….
Sara is an adorable puppy, thought to be a Whippet – Black Lab Mix; she’s petite with a dainty bone structure vs the more solid bone structure of a Lab!!
She’s very smart, a quick learner, very alert and quite energetic!! At about 4 months, Sara weighs 15 lbs. It is most important to note that we cannot be 100% sure of her adult weight, but our best guess is about 35-40 lbs.
This cute pup joined BAARK from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky earlier this year. She is thought to have been born around November 24 2022. When joining our rescue program, Sara appeared happy, calm & gentle, very friendly, and eager to move on to a better life!!
Sara is very sociable, playful, and is great with dogs. She may be a bit too energetic for a senior (dog or human!)
An ideal family for Sara is one able to assimilate the energy of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Sara to be her best self! A fenced yard is ideal as is another younger or middle-aged pup in the family. Perhaps you’d consider adopting Sophia along with Sara…the girls are sisters!!
Sara is crate-trained and is working on good house manners (housebreaking). She is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Her spay is included in her adoption fee.
