Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My life has changed!! My owner was taken to hospice care after many chemo treatments for cancer. My doggie buddy and I were his main concern and he made sure we went to DREAM Dachshund Rescue before he left. I am now in a lovely foster home in Fulshear (where ever that is??). I was really very frightened and kept looking out the window for my owner’s white pickup truck. I now know I am in a loving home with two other spoiled rotten dachshunds and we are able to eat without stealing each other’s food.
I have shown all my many talents in a very short time. I go to the back door when I need to go potty. I stand on my back legs to beg for treats. I know how to use doggie stairs to get on the big bed and run to the bottom of the covers!! There are no cats, but I loved the eight year old Grandson who was visiting. My very favorite thing happened yesterday when we got all dressed up and went for a walk. OH, how wonderful to be out and view the neighborhood! My tail began to wag and I felt at home.
I have had all my shots and ONE MOMENT PLEASE - DRUM ROLL I am heartworm negative!!!
Please know I am SMART and would love to be your forever dog. Daisy the Amazing Donut!
