We don't get many of this breed but when we do we really enjoy having them. Chinese hamsters tend to be mellow and quiet - they are easy to handle but need a gentle hand to keep them safe. A 20 gallon fish tank size enclosure or larger would be perfect for him to burry, play and have plenty of room to roam.
