My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

In Maylene, AL
Hello, my name is Goose and I am looking for my special Mavrick. I have a big personality in a small package. I love to play with my foster dog siblings. I try to play with the kitties, but they just don’t know what to think of me when I come at them with my shark teeth.

I love to be outside and run and play and explore. I have just started to go for walks and like all the new smells and sounds, but especially like getting to say hello to new people and new four-legged friends. I like to go on car rides, especially fun, short trips.

I am looking for a furever home that understands I am a puppy and will need to continue training. I have learned sit, down and paw, but must be focused when training. I am learning to
come with a whistle. I also hear “no” a lot and usually listen but sometimes like to challenge
this. I will ring the bells and paw the door when I need to go potty.

I don’t like the crate very much and am very verbal at letting you know this. I really like to be with my people and other dogs. I like chew toys and pull toys. I really like other furry siblings to play with so I can show them what a big boy I am. I will be your cuddle buddy at night if you will let me sleep with you.

I am 3 months old and currently weigh 15 pounds. I am up to date on my shots and heartworm
preventatives and have already been microchipped. I really need a fenced in yard so I can go outside and play and explore as much as my heart desires.

Goose is an Aussie mix and is a very good puppy that is very smart. He will need continued
training since he is still very much a puppy. He has great potential to make a family very happy.
A meet and greet is required.

If you are interested in making Goose part of your family, please fill out the application at
https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application.

There is an additional $50 neuter deposit that will be refunded upon proof of procedure.
All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Update: He has had his last set of shots and now weighs 30 lbs.

Goose is a smart, happy boy who loves to say hello to all dogs and people he sees. He loves to play with other dogs no matter their size. He's still looking for his special home.
