My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We got Mattie from a shelter over 11 years ago and she is approximately 12.5 years old. She is a very sweet and energetic cat that loves to cuddle and greet you at the door when you get home. She is exclusively an indoor cat. When given enough attention she is generally well behaved. However, we now have three young kids in the house and it is very difficult for us to give her the necessary attention. Additionally, as she has gotten older it is clear Mattie needs a calmer home environment than we can provide. The current situation causes her to become disruptive to the routine/sleep of our kids and us. We are hoping Mattie can find a home with someone who has the time to play with her and cuddle her, while providing the appropriate attention and calm environment that she deserves.
