This little 21 pound girl will melt your heart! Lucy is such a trusting and loving girl, and so much smaller than she looks in the pictures! She is about a year old and still can get those puppy-energy zoomies, but all she wants is love. She will be a velcro dog, as once she knows you love her, she loves you right back. She warms up quickly to new people and new situations, all she needs is gentle speech and hands, and she gets along with almost everyone - dogs, cats, people of all ages. She appears to prefer to be an only dog, because even though she likes other dogs, she also likes getting all of the attention, but she is living with the owned dog in the house and is fine with that as well.
Lucy is a love bug who loves to sit on your lap and get hugs. She is sensitive and adores people. She does get excited meeting new people and jumps, and we are working on that, but it is only because she is so thrilled to be meeting you!
She does live with cats and is doing well with that. She sometimes chases them, but only to play, not to harm. She is still learning, but after only a short time, she is doing really well with the cats! She has a docked tail and eyes that tell you everything that she is feeling. She is house trained and sleeps in a dog bed or in your actual bed all night long near her people. She is small and strong and loves to give kisses! Lucy can sit by your feet or go for a long hike, either is fine with her. She eats well and loves feeling comfortable and showing her true self! Don't miss out on this girl!
