Dave is a 9 year old, neutered, male Belgian Malinois who is looking for his forever home. Dave’s owner adopted Dave as a puppy from the American Belgian Malinois Rescue. When she  became terminally ill she could no longer care for Dave. He is house trained, obedient, and loves being active. Don’t let his age fool you, Malinois are known for being active well into their upper years. An active home with no children under 14 years of age is required. Dave is good with other dogs and has been going to Downtown Doggie in Indianapolis since he was a puppy. Dave would do best as an only dog or in a home with experience in having multiple dogs. Dave has been exposed to cats and has shown some interest, so he will not be placed with cats. Dave has had some obedience training, he competed in Fastcat, AKC agility, rally and fly ball with his owner. 

Requirements:

Private lessons though Downtown Doggie

Signed adoption contract

No children under 14 years of age

No cats

Remain in contact with Downtown Doggie after adoption

Six foot, fenced yard, no invisible fencing

Must have a home visit prior to adoption

Must do a meet and greet prior to adoption
