Zena is fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and combo tested negative.
Zena is an on her terms kind of girl. She can be affectionate when she chooses to be and expects to be rewarded with treats for doing so. She's not a fan of large dogs and will happily give them a swat right in the face. She really would do best as a companion to a single person or quiet couple in a quiet home. Otherwise, she will search for a place to find solace.
Zena likes to come to you and will run if you try to just grab her from the floor. But she sure does love her temptations. She will chirp, coo, get happy paws if she thinks you might give her some num nums. She will also make the most adorable vocalizations when she sees you and is asking for treats. With time, patience and lots of treats, I bet you'll be able to grab her off the floor once you build that trust.
She doesn't like a lot of commotion and loves to lounge in a sunny window. She's very playful at times and loves her crinkle mat, toys and catnip pillow.
Zena is in a home with a large dog and multiple cats, it really is too much for her. She does spend most of her time in the dog free zone and you will find her enjoying the rest of the household when the dog is not home or crated.
Zena has idiopathic cystitis. The stress of a many pet household like you find with those who foster can be a bit much for her. It is treated with generic Prozac which is very inexpensive.
Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment.
