My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toliver Needs a Hero!

Toliver’s heart is broken. The family that adopted her has sent her away. It’s not Toliver’s fault.

This sweetie is a perfect house dog. Her only “fault" is that she likes some dogs and dislikes others. And when she had a “disagreement” with a neighborhood dog, her family’s “solution” was to tell us: “Pick her up by 5:00 or she’s going to the pound.”

We offered training, but Toliver needs a family that will love her even if she makes a mistake! Isn’t that what love is?

Can you turn Toliver’s heart-break into a dream come-true?

Toliver’s original story: Her rescuer called her Lammy because she was “on the lam”—lost and alone, wandering the streets. Someone took the time to house-train her, to teach her to sit, to give her paw. So why didn’t they take the time to look for this sweet, precious angel? It soon became clear that Toliver is one of “those dogs”—the kind that all other dogs will be compared to! We’re not sure who will be luckier—Toliver or the people who adopt her and give her a third chance at happiness!
