Hi I'm Jacksi! I am a tan and white female rough coat Jack Russell Terrier. I am approximately 4 years old. I am a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I want to be with you all the time. I am going to be your shadow. I need an owner that is home most of the time. When it's time for you to leave the house for any reason, I am willing to go into my crate and expect treats and a chew to keep me busy while you are out. I'm usually quiet, but I will alert you to any and all intruders or wildlife! I am highly food motivated, spayed and mostly housebroken. I love to snuggle with you and will kick you while I get comfortable next to you. When I was in my other home I was frequently scared of the other JRTs. I was bullied and dominated. That’s why I am sometimes a little anxious. A quiet home where I can get a lot of love is what I crave. This dog is the sweetest, most endearing little thing. Just a precious little doll. She does have that Jack Russell energy, so she needs someone who will play with her in the backyard, go for walks, throw toys around the living room, and keep her engaged. Like most JRTs Jacksi needs a home with a securely fenced yard. No short chainlink, no wrought iron, no electronic fencing. A home visit will be done before placement and a vet reference is required to adopt Jacksi. She is in foster care in Wichita, Kansas so her adopter will need to drive there to get her.
